Milan ensures that you are the centre of your dogs world. He has taught many people how to interact with their dog using only positive methods which, in turn, builds a stronger bond between the dog and the owner.

He enjoys the satisfaction of witnessing dogs progress over time and has developed an obsession with helping more people improve their relationships with their dogs. After all, we know how much joy a dog brings to a home.

Milan is currently studying with the ISCP, providing him with invaluable skills that enable him to work with dogs that require more specialised attention.

I worked with Milan to build my (very nervous) rescue chihuahua’s confidence in and out of the house, improve his engagement during walks, and teach him commands. Milan is enthusiastic, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. His practice is grounded in consistency and positive reinforcement but he is able to recognise and adapt to different dogs’ needs. Throughout our 30 day course (online and in-person), he offered clear steps and detailed feedback, both of which have been invaluable. I’m thrilled with the progress we’ve made with my dog, but even better is that I now have the tools to continue training him. We took our 6 month old Cockerpoo to the puppy class with Milan and we’re impressed by his enthusiasm and instant connection to the puppies on the course. We then continued with the 4 week online course, which included a visit to our house to work on the areas of behaviour which we needed supported with at home. We sent videos of using the techniques which Milan suggested and he was always quick to respond with both positive comments as appropriate and reminders of the correct order of the techniques and being consistent in letting our dog know what we expected him to do - he does train owners. At the end of the 4 weeks he returned and gave us feedback and also gave us pointers for a couple of new areas which we needed help with. Milan is dedicated to helping dogs and owners have the best relationship and promote safe and secure dogs. Our puppy is totally smitten with him! I highly recommend Milan .

We’re thrilled with our sessions so far! Our lab puppy is super smart, but we were having a tough time with his loose lead walking, recall, and being overly friendly towards other dogs and people. After just a month of weekly sessions, we can see a huge difference and now enjoy our daily walks instead of dreading the pulling and frustration. We contacted Milan for help with our highly reactive French Bulldog. We've made amazing progress in 30 days through a combination of in-person training, zoom calls and daily WhatsApp updates. Milan was really knowledgeable and taught some great positive reinforcement techniques to improve Henry's behaviour. By the end of the program, Henry was much calmer and responsive to commands and we feel much more confident when walking him. Can’t recommend Milan enough. We went for help with multiple areas we wanted to address with our 18 month old dog including reactivity, barking, unable to settle, pulling on the lead, recall. My cocker spaniel has gone from barking at everyone to looking at me which is just amazing in such a short space of time. Milan doesn't train your dog he trains you! My husband and I are so pleased we found Milan, he is an absolutely brilliant dog trainer. We rescued our Belgian Malinois, Ivy, when she was 8 months old and even though we’d had dogs all our lives we knew we needed help with Ivy. We contacted Milan and from the start knew he was the one to help us. We decided on the 30 day training programme which includes 3 hours of 1-1 sessions and WhatsApp advice everyday. Blown away by the changes in our dog in just 4 weeks. We are currently receiving training from Milan for our cocker spaniel Willow around being reactive to visitors at home as well as lead walking. We are due to have a baby and Willow would react to people walking past the house and worse when people entered the home. We requested the help of Milan with a rescue dog that we had for about a year and a half, although Dougie is a lovely dog but rejected by 6 homes before us he has a number of issues. The main one is that he can be unpredictable and has bitten previous owners and bitten while we have had him. We have an other dog and Milan has really educated us that it is our job to manage Dougie at all time so no one is ever put at risk of him biting. Milan’s help, advice and techniques have increased our knowledge in both how to train and manage Dougie. The daily support and quick response to each message is pretty much like having Milan on hand all day for advice and support. For anyone considering this service will not be disappointed!! We intend to have a few months doing everything we have been taught and booking in again in a few months.

I first contacted Milan regarding my 1 year old German Shepherd, Nala as she was very anxious and was refusing to go on her walks. After a 1-1 session with Milan it was obvious Nala was anxious with pepole. Now working with Milan Nala has came on leaps and bonds her walking has improved massively as she use to pull on the lead and she goes to her bed when she hears the doorbell and no longer reacts. We still have a bit to go regarding visitors entering the house and distractions on walks but the improvement already has been amazing. For any dog owner struggling with their dog Milan is definitely the right person to help. Milan is very patient and making the training exercises easy enough you can do it outside of the training lessons and is always easy to contact with updates and questions.

We have really enjoyed the training with Milan. He has helped us so much with our reactive dog Bella. We are so very happy that we found Milan and Smart Dogs Training. We had tried two trainers before finding Milan, neither of whom were able to help us with our rescue Malinois Cody, and one of whom actually made him worse, but from the minute we met Milan we felt confident he could help us. Cody had spent the first year of his life locked in a yard and had been neglected and not socialised with other dogs, he also had not experienced almost all aspects of ordinary everyday urban life. Our main final aim is to be able to walk Cody off lead amongst other dogs and to know he will recall perfectly and not be a risk to them. Milan has taught us techniques to get and to keep Cody's attention from leaving the house onwards, something we could not manage to do before. Cody is not quite there yet but he is hugely improved and we are now confident that we can achieve what we had started to think was impossible. Milan is in daily contact with us by WhatsApp and he requests us to send frequent videos of the training which he then gives detailed feedback on. Milan's love and enthusiasm of dog training shines through in his energetic training style which makes it fun and exciting for the dog (and us!). It almost goes without saying that Cody absolutely loves him. Myself and my husband really cannot recommend Milan highly enough. He's a true dog whisperer!

Our walks filled us with anxiety around his reactivity, pulling on the leash and overall most walks weren’t enjoyable for any of us.Milan’s expertises and knowledge on being able to identify the sticking point/triggers, whilst providing us with strategies and knowledge on how to identify our dogs anxiety towards some people/dogs has been incredible.We can now say we look forward to walks and we will be book further session with Milan to continue the progress we have seen. I’ve had the pleasure of getting Hudson trained by Milan the past few weeks .He has great knowledge and understanding of dogs and their behaviour . Hudson has came on great with recall , leash lunging and walking I would recommend Milan every time .

Milan looked after my weimeraner Apollo for 2 weeks. Apollo is adorable but has certain reactive traits- barking at other dogs, hating skateboarders etc. Milan seems to have trained Apollo to not react to his trigger situations Milan is clearly a natural dog whisperer. We are so grateful for Milan’s 30-day dog training program. The combination of 1-2-1 sessions and daily WhatsApp guidance was fantastic. We loved the personalised 1-2-1 sessions, where Milan’s hands-on approach really helped us understand how to work with our dog Panda. While Panda progressed a bit more slowly than expected, we’ve already seen positive changes, and we truly appreciate Milan’s patience and continued support throughout the process. We have used many services smart dogs training has to offer and all of it has been amazing!We have done the 30 day whatsapp training when our puppy could barely leave the house, and it gave him so much confidence and helped him with his fearfulness!Our puppy later developed reactivity so we did another 30 days but this time with in person sessions! The in person training was honestly the most valuable and helpful experience for me to learn and be taught how to help my dog. It was worth its weight in gold to have Milan there to assist in person, and I would recommend this to anyone!We have recently been using their dog walking service with Naomi walking our dog! With getting a new job there was so much stress and worry about what to do with the dog that wouldn’t set back his training, but having Naomi has been amazing, her training walks have helped our reactive dog and given us so much peace of mind! Highly recommend Milan, we can’t believe how much progress Freddie (our pup) has made in such a short time! Really value Milan’s expertise and knowledge and ability to spot easily exactly what Freddie’s motivators and sticking points are so we could focus on those. We have just completed our training with Milan for our cavapoo Stella. We were having issues with barking in the garden and not settling on an evening. Milan gave us very simple easy to follow instructions and guidelines and we could quickly see the changes in her behaviour in many things not just the corrections we were looking for. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get to know their dog behaviour better resulting in an even better bonding with your dog

We were referred to Milan from a friend and we couldn’t recommend him any more ourselves. The difference in our dog in 4 weeks is amazing.We rescued a Rottweiler puppy at 5 months old and she was very anxious when out on walks and reactive to sounds inside the house. Milan worked with us to get her to disengage herself when out on walks be less reactive to outside sounds when in the house.Now we have a dog who is nowhere near as anxious when out on walks and is not far away from being off leash and she is also a lot less reactive to outside noise. Using the commands and training from Milan she continues to get better every day.Milan is great at tailoring information to you so you can process it and relay it back. He was very accommodating and arranged our 1-2-1’s to suit our schedule… already said above but we couldn’t recommend him enough!Thank you

Milan, is very good at understanding the personality and motivations for our dog, Meg, and of our strengths and weaknesses as her owners. This makes his advice tailored and helpful. He responds quickly to questions via WhatsApp between visits and calls. His colleague Ella is also observant and insightful about Meg's behaviour and progress. Definitely recommended.

We could not manage work and personal life plus having a dog as part of our family if it weren’t for Smart Dogs. They have given us peace of mind us knowing that our dog is well behaved, has frequent walks and can be boarded when we’re on holidays. 5 weeks ago, I got a rescue dog and on day 3 he had bitten me! It became apparent he would resource guard everything, even my bed, and that why i had got bitten. I reached out to the rescue centre and seeked some advice. They offered to pay for some behavioural training and put me in touch with Milan, well what can i say Milan has been amazing and explaining things so I was able to understand better why my dog behaved the way he does.Our individual training plan was created and training commenced. Training videos uploaded each day via WhatsApp and milan would respond either explaining if we were doing something incorrect and how to correct it or if we could move on to the next stage.Fast forward 30 days, and I can honestly say hand on heart the training advice and support has been amazing and my dog is 95% better. I understand this training isn't only for the 30 days it has to be for the rest of my dogs life.My dog now gives up items he previously guarded, he now goes to his bed when asked, he looks at me when out on walks and for the first on Friday my recall worked after many many times of asking. I was screaming in the park because I was so happy that it finally worked and people must have thought I was being attacked.So my advice to you is listen to Milan follow his instructions to the letter, don't give up and get used to repeating commands 50,000 times a day.

Our German Shepherd puppy was struggling with walking on a lead and being nervous in general. Milan’s training has helped us to understand why she was behaving that way and exactly how to fix it. In 4 sessions she has improved massively and we now have the tools to keep helping her grow in confidence.

Absolutely outstanding training and support, 5 star service!! I am so pleased that I chose Smart Dogs Training to help me teach my puppy the basics. I contacted Milan because, after a couple of negative encounters, my dogs behaviour took a nose dive. He started barking and lunging at certain dogs and wouldn’t let men approach me. I was embarrassed and anxious and no longer enjoyed my walks.We’ve been with Milan for around a month. My dog is so much happier, we both enjoy our walks together now and his behaviour has improved dramatically.Milan is a great trainer, he makes the sessions enjoyable for both me and Zeus and something to look forward to every week.

Absolutely amazing! We started our training with Milan when our cocker puppy was 3 months old as we wanted to make sure we were ‘doing training right’ from the start. Milan made it so easy to understand what we needed to do and what was best for our pup and our lifestyle. We’ve gained a new confidence and overall just have a much more relaxed and fun time together. He’s shown us techniques that are simple to work through and helped us understand what our pup needs. Can’t recommend Board and Train highly enough. From the initial scene setting call everything has worked really well. Milan listened to the concerns and training needs and developed an approach to suit our dog. During the boarding regular updates were given on progress. Following this we had a very comprehensive handover, explaining what we needed to do to continue the progress and build on the training. Over the next few weeks daily check ins took place with Milan giving feedback and further progressions so as to build trust and confidence. The progress that we have made following this programme is fabulous. Our programme was developed predominantly around being able to walk our German Shepherd without being pulled (sometimes off my feet). I now feel confident in walking her alone, something I never thought I’d be able to do. Truly this has made a huge difference to our family life and can’t thank Milan enough. I’d have no hesitation in recommending this service, and especially Milan. He’s great to work with and makes both owner and dog feel that nothing is impossible.

Bailey (cross german shepherd and bull mastif) loves Milan and he is always pleased to see him. His training before we came across Smart dogs training was limited. He has improved tremendously since starting the training. He is a very large dog and I struggled to walk him due to my physical limitations and after he stayed with Milan for 5 days on board and train, I can now walk him and not be worried about getting pulled over. Bailey seems much happier too. He was taken care of very well. Highly recommend for pets and he is very helpful and supportive to us owners too

I would definitely recommend Milan and Smart dogs training they have helped me so much with my lab and his walking. We still have work to do but with the 30 day training course Milan has helped me understand how I can help Chance respond differently to distractions or pulling. He has also helped me feel confident while I'm walking Chance. Milan give me techniques to help Chance in the house also with him barking at the window when anyone walked past or he heard a noise outside and also his chewing of furniture. I would definitely recommend anyone that needs help or support with training or dog walking to Milan and Smart dogs training amazing service and support. Thanks again Milan and the team.

Milan has been amazing helping us to train our puppy, Peggy. We needed help to learn how to manage her separation anxiety and also with recall and lead walking.
